For well over twenty years Mr. McKenzie has performed cost of service, cost allocation and other accounting or financial related studies for utilities and governmental clients. His background is in electric utility and governmental accounting. He has specialized in the area of cost accounting, including cost of service determination and indirect cost identification for both utility and governmental clients. A recognized expert in utility accounting, Jerry has served as the instructor for the American Public Power Association’s Public Utility Accounting course for over fifteen years and has authored several articles and publications on cost related issues. He is one of the most experienced consultants in the field having provided services for literally hundreds of clients. Prior to joining MGT, Mr. McKenzie served as a Vice President at Maximus Inc. (formerly David M. Griffith and Associates, Ltd.) and an assistant to the Controller for a large investor-owned electric utility. His background includes hundreds of projects for utilities, cities, counties and state agencies throughout the country.
