Bob Lauder

A by-the-numbers kind of guy who loves to dig into rich, relevant data. He could start a database of the ground-breaking projects he has overseen for MGT clients. It’s an impressive number.

Bob partners with Alan Pollock in managing MGT’s criminal justice and public safety consulting practice. Since coming to MGT, he has conducted or directed a number of reviews for law enforcement and corrections agency clients. Bob has a strong financial background, as well as extensive experience with performance reviews, legislative analysis, and revenue forecasting and modeling. He has conducted law enforcement agency staffing studies using a data-driven deployment model.

Bob's career includes more than 13 years in state government, where he served as an analyst responsible for estimating state revenues, preparing economic forecasts, and forecasting court fees. He also was a key member of the team that conducted pioneering performance reviews of the Texas criminal justice system, including leading a review of the prison system's capacity and a comprehensive look at the state police agency's operations.

Along with a deep knowledge of the operations of corrections and law enforcement organizations, Bob, a CPA, also has extensive experience in accounting, budgeting, financial analysis and performance auditing.
