Years of aging buildings, changes in enrollment patterns and educational programs, and the need to technologically update existing facilities, combined with severe restrictions on available funds, have created major facility issues throughout the nation. Several years ago, MGT worked with a group of architects and engineers to develop a structured building condition evaluation instrument. MGT developed a system that ensures a careful review at a sufficient level of detail, is cost-effective to administer, helps set priorities for corrective action, and helps justify needs to outside reviewers. Since that time the company has continued to refine and improve the system.
