Dr. Thompson’s consulting experience includes more than 20 years of market research and planning activities with an emphasis on projects pertaining to higher education, k-12, local and state government policy, operations and services, and private sector business marketing. In particular, he has devoted a considerable amount of his professional life to directing needs assessments for college and university academic programs, student services, enrollment management, marketing, and student housing. Dr. Thompson’s methodological expertise focuses on survey research, qualitative data collection, evaluative research and statistical analysis. He currently is responsible for much of MGT’s higher education services for program needs assessments as well as student housing planning.
