As one of MGT's founders, Dr. Boutwell has served as the firm's President/CEO for over 30 years. His experience includes conducting numerous analytical studies in the fields of finance, planning, economic development, and government management systems. His experience also includes co-founding a nonprofit health maintenance organization with annual revenues of over $280 million, and subsequently serving as chairman of its board.
Prior to joining MGT, Dr. Boutwell served as Vice Chancellor for Administration for the State University System of Florida where he directly managed 97 staff members and was responsible for the financial and personnel management of all of Florida's universities. Additionally, he has managed many research and consulting projects, varying in size and scope. Dr. Boutwell holds his doctorate in quantitative economics and statistics and has conducted many studies requiring the use of sophisticated statistical research designs and analyses.
