Oklahoma Legislature Releases Performance Audit Report
With input from legislative members, MGT developed 141 recommendations to improve the efficiency and cost effectivness of Oklahoma's corrections system.
MGT was retained by the Legislative Service Bureau of the Oklahoma Legislature to complete a comprehensive perfromance review of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and its related programs. In the course of this review, MGT completed a review of the Department of Correction's operations with a primary focus on the identification of steps that can improve efficiency and reduce costs. The final report outlines steps that could be initiated in order to plan for the growth of the system's inmate population in a manner that is consistent with the need to maintain public safety.
