CITY OF DAYTON, OHIO

Second-Generation Disparity Study Brings Change to the City’s Procurement Enhancement Program

The City of Dayton, Ohio brought in MGT for the purpose of conducting a Second Generation Procurement Disparity study. Additionally, city officials wanted an analysis of the City’s performance under the Procurement Enhancement Program (PEP). City officials wanted to determine if there were disparities in procurement related to the race, ethnicity, or gender of business owners awarded contracts by the City. Second Generation Disparity Study Aligns NCDOT with Required Standards

MGT professionals, in conjunction with the North Carolina Institute of Minority Economic Development, conducted a second-generation disparity study for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). The study covered the procurement of highway preconstruction and construction services. Study objectives centered on measuring the effectiveness of NCDOT's Minority/Women Business Enterprise (M/WBE) and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) programs beyond statistical utilization and determining the possible effects of discontinuing the program. Click here to read more.

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Disparity Study
